Finding Your Life Purpose

purpose

Get REAL get HAPPY is about finding your life purpose.

We approach it from a slightly different angle than anyone else though.

Many people believe that when they find their life purpose and pursue it they will experience

A sense of Purpose

  • Peace
  • Direction
  • Happiness
  • Fulfillment
  • Knowing
  • Belonging
  • The list could go on.

Here are some ideas that may help you find yours…

What is your life purpose?

Your life purpose is a choice that you make, a decision, which you bring all actions in life in line with. You make a commitment to something and then act in line with that commitment.

You put a stake in the sand and then declare this is who I am, this is what I’m about, and this is what I will make happen.

Your life purpose is a declaration, a stand you take for who you are and how you will show up in the world.

It is a creation that often will, but does not have to have emotional attachment.

What your life purpose is not?

It’s not something inside you that you were born with.

It is not something that you find or discover.

It does not have to be gargantuan or have meaning in the world.

Why can’t I find mine?

You have not been able to find yours at the moment because you already have it and did not realize.

You have one and have simply not declared it as your life purpose.

As I said before though all your actions are inline with this purpose and you are committed to it.

Well what is it then?

Your current life purpose is…

Drum role please…

To find your life purpose

I didn’t say you would like it

That sucks and doesn’t help what can I do about it?

The thing is your life purpose is a free choice you make after careful consideration of any options you wish to consider at the moment you commit to the purpose.

Given it’s a choice, and this is where many people get stuck, you can change it at any time you wish, and you are not stuck with it.

Well that does not sound like an important life purpose if I can change it?

It does not have to be important. Its purpose is not to be important, as I mentioned earlier. It’s only purpose is to give you purpose.

Once you have a purpose that you are committed to the quality of your life changes.

It has all those things in it that come with having a purpose.

You see even if your life purpose is to find your life purpose the experience of that purpose changes once you realize that, that is your purpose.

Instead of feeling empty and lost, like you don’t know where you’re going, you are inspired, motivated and driven.

You start reading books, going on adventures, doing and trying different things and experiences, you do more courses to grow.

You’re on a fun mission to open up your understanding till you chose another life purpose.

You said you take a different approach, what do you mean?

The point is you already have a life purpose; it’s just that it does not inspire you.

To actually create and stand for a purpose that inspires you, you need to understand the following things.

You struggle because your more committed to being lost than you are to being found.

It’s the connection to the heart and the emotion that is missing not the purpose.

Make that connection and you will get clarity around your purpose.

Relax around not having a purpose and needing one, the whole concept causes suffering.

I know my purpose, and the point of me knowing it was not to shove it in your face and say look at me I’m so content because I know my purpose. It is simply that once you choose to follow anything, it brings about a sense of – yes that right, you guessed it PURPOSE.

That then brings happiness, peace, direction, knowing and belonging…

What’s the bottom line?

The bottom line is that anyone who claims to have found his or her life purpose didn’t.

They made a conscious choice to let go of self-doubt, of not knowing, of uncertainty.

They simple picked something, that felt right and this is the key…

They are in touch with their feelings to some degree; they are not stuck in their head trying to work it out. They are not focused on making the right choice or that there is a right choice. They are not looking for the ultimate answer as if there is one out there. There isn’t that I’m aware of.

They know it’s not set in stone and it can change if it needs to. If they evolve and change. If they get a deeper under

They have freedom to make a choice and the ability to act in line with the choice they make.

What should I do now?

  • Train yourself.
  • Pick a purpose anything, big or small; write it where you can see it.
  • Declare it as your purpose.
  • Bring all your actions inline with that purpose. Focus, commit.
  • Bring all your speaking in line with the purpose.
  • Let go of all conversation and emotional attachment to anything that is not that purpose.
  • The purpose here is not to get the right purpose it is to train yourself on how to have a purpose.
  • Anyone with a purpose does all the above actions and more.
  • Oh of course, join our mentoring program or attend a live event.

Your purpose can be anything you are willing to stand for your purpose being.
