REALITY…are you being the ARCHITECT of your own life? Or is your reality, your beliefs, your perception creating it for you?
Today, our eight year old was home from school as he was not feeling well (end of term; kiddies tend to get tired and run down at this time…I know many parents out there know exactly what I’m talking about). So, we had our regular ‘creator’s catch up meeting’ and of course brought him along.
We were going through a number of topics as we do on reality, duality, perception, beliefs, virtues vs values etc…now here’s the cool part…
Our eight year old asks me ‘can I write something in your notebook’ to which of course reply ‘yup for sure buddy’ and hand him my notebook and pen…he proceeds to write the following:
‘Reality is your thoughts of what your life is like at the moment. You can show it by acting, drawing and writing’
WOW isn’t it amazing how children pick up and create these beautiful insights for us. He also drew a picture of his reality…of course he’s the larger than life character alongside the 3 of us denoted by stick figures at the table – love it!!!
So there you have it…from the eyes of an eight year old…YOUR reality can be shown in how your are acting, what you are drawing or the words that your writing…become the ARCHITECT of your own life!!!
