Bub is 28 weeks today and I’m feeling empowered and on top of the world!!! Wow the feminine energy…we are vulnerable, strong, beautiful and amazing beings…when we trust, stay true to who we are and what is important to us….life flows!!!
Society at times says ‘you must do this’ or ‘you have to do that’, or ‘it’s our policy’, or ‘you wont be able to ___ if you don’t conform and do ___’ – fill in the blanks…how many times in life have we all heard that.
Well that’s been me over the last couple weeks after being told I had to take certain test during my pregnancy (none of which felt right for me), in order to have the birth plan that I wanted.
I’m have been on top of the world today as I achieved the outcome that is best for me and our bub not the one that was being imposed on me or conforming to what others think is best…the one that felt right, that I knew with every ounce of my being was the right path for me!!!!
YAY!!!! Such an amazing feeling to stand for what was important for me, for our bub and for other women who at times just ‘do what is asked’ even when it doesn’t feel right…

I feel so blessed to have an amazing partner who supports, loves and cherishes me and who stood by my decision…that coupled with a beautiful amazing friend (you know who you are) who has a breath of knowledge and wisdom around mummas, bubs and pregnancy…she’s always willing to share her wisdom, pass on her knowledge and there to support me in what I decide is best for me…thank you thank you thank you!!! I love, honor and feel humbled to have an amazing community of people around for the journey…
